Rachel
After gaining a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and experience as a Prison Officer, I quickly realised that I wanted to take control of my career and build a business on my own terms. Beauty has always been a lifelong passion of mine, and I’ve been deeply fascinated by aesthetics and surgical procedures from a young age.
In late 2017, I founded Prowess Cosmetics and began my journey into Semi-Permanent Makeup, starting with Microblading. I immediately fell in love with the artistry behind it, and even more so with the impact it had on my clients—boosting their confidence and bringing them joy. This inspired me to expand my services into injectables. In 2018, I had completed advanced training in dermal fillers, which allowed me to sculpt, contour, and enhance facial profiles.
Alongside this, I made sure to gain in-depth knowledge in handling complications, hyaluronidase, and first aid. As I continued my learning journey, I further expanded my expertise in 2019 with courses in mesotherapy, fat dissolving, skin boosters, vitamin injections, and the machine method of semi-permanent makeup.
With years of training and hands-on experience, I’ve honed my skills to a high level of competency and confidence. I am proud to be a fully qualified educator, and in 2021 I opened my own Clinic and Training Academy in Chester. Sharing my passion for aesthetics and my extensive knowledge with students is one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and I’m excited to continue helping others build their own success in this field.
